I just finished reading The Death Of Grass by John Christopher. A most interesting read and I shall review it over at the other blog some time soon. When I finished reading the book I went back to the beginning and looked again at the first page or two and liked the opening words more than I had when I first read it. Going back to the beginning of the book also reminded of a quote that was on the first page and I shall leave you with that:

TF - Unfortunately it is one of those things that has happened to a lot of people. Perhaps sometimes it is for the best though.
Still pondering the short break destination...
These things happen because we become entrenched in our position and do not try and walk in the shoes of the other person.
